Background / Career
If you are looking in France for a coach 100% dedicated to padel, trained in Spain—and not coming from a tennis background—Thibault Lalouette is a must-know option. In just five years of intensive practice and over 300 hours of training in Spain, he has built a unique teaching method, shaped by direct experience with more than forty Spanish and Argentine coaches.
Since 2020, he has multiplied his trips to Spain: nearly 20 training camps and certifications, in more than 15 different cities, meeting renowned local coaches, each with their own sensitivity and approach. This journey has allowed him to compile the most effective drills, the clearest visual cues, and the most impactful tactical advice. Unlike many French-speaking instructors who come from tennis, Thibault learned padel “the Spanish way”, progressing step by step: from beginner player, to intermediate, to advanced, before training as a coach for high-level players within Spanish academies working with professionals.
He also created a conference entitled “Play with your head rather than your racket”, focused on tactical fundamentals. It serves as a true guide for new players who want to progress quickly, even without prior racket-sport experience. The idea: enabling everyone to enjoy the game early by understanding game systems and competing smartly against technically stronger opponents. In his view, padel is at least 70% tactics and 30% technique—though mastering direction and depth control are absolutely essential.
In parallel, Thibault obtained his official Padel Instructor diploma (TFP) from the French Federation, and today he shares his expertise with players of all levels, from beginners to competitive athletes, through his padel lessons in Lille.

Why choose this coach ?
Thibault Lalouette has developed a highly effective teaching approach shaped by both observation and experience. Over the years, he has identified the most common mistakes made by beginners and created simple corrective exercises supported by clear, visual explanations to make learning easier.
He also specializes in helping former tennis players — who make up a large part of new padel enthusiasts — replace old habits with the right technical and tactical reflexes. Thibault drew inspiration from professional tour coaches by closely observing top players such as Paquito Navarro and Ari Sánchez, learning how to structure high-performance training sessions.
Beyond his role as a coach, Thibault is also the director of ToPadel, the leading padel training provider in Spain, welcoming over 1,500 players every year. This experience has given him deep insight into the training methods of some of the greatest Spanish coaches, including :
• Ángel González, coach of world No. 1 Ari Sánchez and winner of the 2023 Coach of the Year Award
• Ramiro Choya, former Spanish national coach and mentor to Paquito Navarro, who helped define modern padel teaching principles
He has also worked alongside nearly ten Premier Padel circuit coaches — many of whom are national team selectors for countries such as Sweden, Germany, England, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
Today, through the creation of CoachMyPadel.com, Thibault shares this rich, Spanish-influenced expertise with French-speaking players. The result: a clear, structured, and accessible coaching method that delivers the best of international padel training — in French.
